I was asked for advice from a friend: scenario: the guy asks the girl to dinner for the 1st time. after dinner, girl courteously offered to pay for dinner. the guy did not reject the offer, and let the girl pay for the whole dinner. now girl is upset that the guy did not offer to pay for the 1st meal together. the guy did not feel what he did was wrong. my advice: on the very 1st date, the guy should always pay (dinner, movie), to show that he cares about the girl. if they do go out again, the girl then can offer to pay next. in my opinion, although the guy was a nice fella, he was ignorant. in conclusion, he lost the girl for being cheap and having a poor first impression. what do u think? do u agree with me? or do u differ?
