I was asked last year if I would be interested in writing a chapter for a new college textbook that delt with physical security and homeland security by a good friend. I said yes even though I was somewhat intimidated due to the reputations of the other contributing authors who are nationally and internationally know in their area of expertise. So I wrote and submitted the chapter and it was finally published and released recently. I am happy and proud with how the book turned out. I know some of the authors personally and they did an excellent job!! I am truley thankful and honored that I was asked to have a part in this book. I would like to thank my wife and kids who allowed me to work on this last December during the holidays and while planning a wedding! Lol.... I would also like to thank Don Alwes who is like a father to me in this work. He poured his knowledge and wisdom into me and believed in me when I was 22-23 years old working on a security project with the US Secret Service, scared to death! Thanks Don...
