I was asked recently why we missed a local dog show that we always seem to go to. The reason we did not go was because we enjoy spending more and more time with our horses. The other reason is that dog shows are becoming more and more spoiled by the very few that like to cause drama and start trouble. Why is it that a few people always seem to bash other peoples dogs, call people liars, & insult exhibitors or judges? If you think judges are partial to other judges and their dogs, dont enter under them. The exhibitors always have the power of which judge to show under. If you enter a show, you are paying for that judges opinion. If you dont like said opinion, do not enter under that judge again. If you are tired of getting beat by a certain dog, kennel, handler or owner; avoid them. This is a very expensive hobby, and we do this for the pure love and joy of showing our dogs. However sadly, the joy is quickly becoming less and less for many because of the few.
