I was asked to do a poem about a girl falling in love. #lovepoemrequest She stood on the edge Arms stretched wide Drunkenly waiting to be tipped Preparing to fall down love’s shaft She swayed with the winds Emotions tunneling through her veins Cloaking her with thoughts On the cliff she stayed She peered at the bottomless cage Her wings entangled with the fee Unsure of the air beneath She was grounded on the toes of her feet Anxious of the life she hesitated to live Her mind began to float Silently her partner released her tilt She soared through the air Lightly embracing genuine uncertainty She felt a rush of desire Hunger for all her heart’s needs Her mind continued to swallow the air Happily filling her with intoxity
