I was asked today whats the best advice you have for someone who wants to improve all areas of their health, ex; nutrition, fitness, sleep, happiness, reduced stress, energy My advice is to work on being a better _______ (partner, sibling, boss, friend, co-worker etc.) If you want to improve your over all health... work first on how you serve others, work to take care of your important relationships... the ones where you CAN make a difference. Nothing is better for our health than being happy in our relationships. (**However, not all relationships are created equal. Sometimes the way to fix it is to realize it might be time to let it go and that takes work.**) Put time into your relationships. I give FAR MORE thought and care to the time I will spend with my husband and how we can grow stronger together than I do how I will spend time in the gym. No judgement, but thats my priority and it trickles down to the overall health of my family. To be healthy I work with more determination on my relationship than I do most other pursuits. When I honor my relationships I feel confident and happy and proud and that in turn effects every aspect of my health. I make better decisions about my nutrition. I have motivation to stay young and strong and be a role model. Im happy and being happy gives me energy. Its just one big giant positive snowball effect. Do you find that balance and happiness in your relationshps effects your over all health? What so you?
