I was asked today why I did not finish my education, by a child. Now i was not going to go into the needs and wants of trying to survive in todays world and the need for a job that paid more than being a mom did. Yet at the same time telling them the truth would not have been helpful to my next few parenting years. Dilemmas of honesty; that can be modified with the right approach. So I told them after six years I really needed some time to earn some money and play mom. Now mind you this is only part of the truth. that has now come back to haunt me, as I believed my own false hood, until i sent in my transcripts to re-enroll and finish a degree I began long ago (which one i am yet to decide though as i have three in three directions going) until i came to the stop sign of my education on all three....foreign language. You would think after all these years they would have gotten rid of that requirement....blah!
