I was assigned #4 by Cyndi Sartorio-Dykhouse. That is good because I probably could not remember more than 4 if I wanted to! lol Here goes: 1 - When I was VERY young, some 54-55 yarn ago, I invented lip synching. I used to stand on a milk crate and lip sync to Ricky Nelsons Traveling Man and Mary Lou. I played them on my phonograph.. The record was a 45 and the songs were on both sides, Traveling Man on Side A and Mary Lou on Side B. 2 - My first car was a 1959 English Ford Anglia. It was painted with a paint brush with paint runs and brush marks all over and the engine was frozen. My dad bought it for $25 and figured it would take me a couple of years to get it running.. NOT!! It was UGLY but it ran 6 months later!! It then became the coolest thing ever! Still ugly though! 3 - While in the US Air Force, I once controlled 13 Navy Fighters at one time. It was about 11:30 pm, 30 minutes before our RADAR facility closed, They were 120 miles from the coast off Myrtle Beach, SC and could not land on their Carrier due to bad weather. They were all emergencies because of low fuel. We pulled it off and got things set up to land them in our own bad weather. That was a very interesting night that I will never forget! 4 - When I was very young my Aunt and Uncle from Ohio used to come to Miami and visit us. My aunt would bring my sister Barbie dolls. For some reason she thought I liked Ken dolls so she always brought one for me. I hated it! I awlays gave them to my sister. I think she told my aunt that I liked them knowing what would happen as soon as they left! I hope you enjoyed these little snapshots..
