I was at Fairbridge today for two consecutive events. The first was working with a community group running their Board through Governance training. It was great working with a group of people so committed to enabling people within their organisation to grow and reach their full potential at a emotional, physical and spiritual level. They were meeting in one of our cottages in the lounge area with a fire going, white board etc. What a perfect place to bring people together to go on a journey of learning with each other. I then went and met with Aboriginal Elders and representatives from mens groups from the Noongar regions as far as Moora down to Albany who were meeting at Fairbridge to discuss and explore how we may all work together to bring about positive sustainable change for Aboriginal young people and their families. We sat around the fire and talked ! I felt very honoured and privileged to be amongst such a eminent group of men from throughout the southwest with one thing in common, to bring about positive change for their people. What a wonderful place Fairbridge is to be benefiting such a broad range of young people and communities from through WA and at times from throughout Australia and the world. Mark Anderson CEO
