I was at a local eating establishment the other morning and was just appalled by the way a young man about my age was talking to an older gentleman at the bar. The older man was talking about his garden and about what he did for a living for 30+ years and how he loved what he did. The younger man said to the older man you say the same thing to me every time I sit here and eat breakfast I think the older man is one of the kindest man I have ever met and it really made me mad to hear someone talk down to him. I wanted to and should have asked the young one if he had a relationship with his parents and also tell him you will be old someday. The older man told the younger when you get to be over 80 sometimes you forget and then had a sad look on his face. I looked across the way and said hey Mr. _____ how is your garden coming along? You grow the best vegetables of anybody I know, I know you work real hard in that garden and everybody you share with sure does love the way you grow things,that put a smile on his face and I gave the young guy a dirty look. Be kind to your elders sweet people your gonna be there one day. Love you so much. Peace.
