I was at the Post Office the other day here in Kalamazoo to pick up a couple of parcels and I was wearing my leather Captains jacket with Star Trek insignia emblazoned on it and the postman turned out to be a Trekkie! He said, Hey, Im a Trekkie too! and held up his hand in the Vulcan salute. I laughed and returned it. He said, pointing at the UFP emblem on the front of my jacket, Ive got one -- but its back here. He turned around, pulled up his right trouser leg -- and sure enough, there was the same symbol, tattooed on the back of his leg! Ever had a neat Trekkie moment when someone else recognizes you as a fellow fan?
