I was at the inaugural Eucharist for the CIRCLE OF LIFE at the Holy Name Cathedral this evening where His Eminence blessed pyxes that will be placed in monstrances that will be taken to different parishes.... It was a solemn celebration with the Cathedral choir conducted by Mario Nazareth leading us in the hymns... The CIRCLE OF LIFE is a unique event being organised in the Archdiocese of Bombay to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the 38th International Eucharistic Congress which was held in the city of Bombay in 1964... The CIRCLE of LIFE incorporates the journey of the Blessed Sacrament to most of the parishes of the Archdiocese of Bombay where it will be housed in the parishes for a day of prayer and adoration and then be taken to the next parish on 6 different routes.... Please check with your parishes about the day and time of departure and arrival of the Blessed Sacrament and join the journey of LIFE... Our parish begins the CIRCLE OF LIFE ON Thursday, 6th November 2014
