I was awake early this morning. 15 years ago this morning my Daddy took his flight to heaven to live forever!!!! The memories are so precious of my life as his daughter!!! His life was a life of ups and some downs but the ups outweighed the downs!! His natural ability to get up one more time than he fell always came through! Daily in the Word of God finding the nuggets... That he shared with all!!! Prayer was so vital!!! His funny nature kept us not knowing when he would jump out and bark like a dog... He was good!!! I miss him, miss his preaching singing our family game times.... Sharing coffee..... Love for people was another strong character trait!!! A few days before he passed away, I ask him to pray for me that a double portion of his love would be on my life. I kneeled down in front of him, he placed his big work worn hands on my head and I felt a joy course through me.. I will never be as great but I try to live for my Jesus like he did!! One day I will see him :). Love you Delton James Carnley!!!!
