I was barely 8 years old when the towers fell. I dont remember that day. I do have one memory, I thought it was the it happened but I think it was the days following. I was sitting on the floor of our living room and my dad is on the edge of his recliner and I think my mom was in her chair. On the TV, I can see the towers falling over and over again. My brother and I were playing or doing something that made some noise and dad told us to knock it off. He used a tone of voice that made me know whatever it was on TV was more important. I also remember portions of President Bushs address but I think that was replays over the years. A part of me wishes that I could remember that day, so that I could have a story to tell my children and grandchildren and younger generations who were alive but dont remember, and could be taught that we had it coming or something. But another part of me has a sort of appreciation for the child-like innocence I had. #911NeverForget #NeverForget
