I was blessed enough to spend the last year and some change working shoulder to shoulder with an extraordinary man. Someone that I witnessed time after time walking into a room of people and inspiring everyone in the room to see his vision. Then, journey with him creatively to places in business, advertisement, branding, marketing and music that we didnt realize existed... and that was just the business side. The personal side could be summed up in his smile or one of those many bear hugs hed give. If you were ever fortunate enough to have received one, youll never forget it. We did business together, prayed together and cared for one another like family. As Kevyn often said to people of me... I was on your front porch when your sister brought you out as a baby, Ive known you all your life. Id then sum it up better, I dont recall a time in life that I didnt know Kevyn and the Lewis family (Mr. and Mrs. Lewis, Denise, Ramsey, Dawn, Kelly, Frayne & Bobby and I cant forget Connie) I love you all and I feel blessed to have been here as family and a constant warm reminder of 68th and Constance and all that the Jackson Park Highlands stood for growing up there.
