I was born and raised in Ajegunle ... I am proud of my hood. I lived most of my life in Ajegunle. No matter where I go, I will always REP Ajegunle. I am disappointed in our government representatives. They are not living up to expectations. Their style of governance is primitive. They deceive our people with peanuts. Our mothers are being forced out of the market (Suru-Alaba/ Boundary) without alternatives, they are building their so called ultra modern shops and selling for millions of Naira. Our brothers and friends earning their living through Okada riding are not left out of this barbaric humiliation. Even though Lagos state Government bared Okada riders from plying some roads in Lagos state, Most roads in Ajegunle were not included in the list of Lagos state, yet Okada riders in Ajegunle are not spared. Their bikes are seized on daily basis, they are forced to part with ambiguous amount to bail their bikes. The leaders and elder of the community turn blind eyes to this because of the peanuts they get from the local government. This is pathetic. I call on Ajegunle youths to stand up and fight for their rights. We are being humiliated. The only area you will find little development in Ajegunle are places where their political touts and thugs resides. For example Ojo road, Orege Road, Wilmer Road and their axis are the most popular roads in Ajegunle with vast economic values. These are places you can find Banks, hotels, petrol stations, standard hotels, good schools to mention but few. But what has been happening ton these places? Neglect. Why? because residents of these places are intellectuals and matured people who does not indulge in thuggery and political slavery. This is a clarion call.. Please lets stand up and fight for our rights. Lets use the most powerful instrument withing our reach VOTE. lets vote them out of power come 2015 for us to have a better Ajegunle. It doesnt matter if you presently live in Ajegunle or not, as much has you have lived in Ajegunle at any point in time, please lets join hands together to make Ajegunle a better place ....
