I was born right before the Iran-Iraq war started and spent the first 7 years of my life in a war torn country. I am very familiar with sirens, rockets, bombings, destruction and death caused by war. I have so much sympathy for both Israelis and Palestinians who have to go through this nightmare. I am disgusted by Hamas leaders who refuse to accept a ceasefire, but NOT SURPRISED. Islamic Extremist entities have no regard for the lives of people they govern. Khomeini had no regard for the lives of Iranians and wanted the war to continue, which it did for 8 years! Hamas is using Palestinians as human shields and continues its attack against Israel, forcing Israel to defend itself! What has fallen in between the cracks is Irans involvement in this war and its support for Hamas which allows them to continue their terrorist activities!
