I was brought to this thought yesterday regarding faith and belief in religious ideology outside ourselves. Spirit brought this message to me, which I will share with you as it was meant for me to do. The question was posed regarding belief in GOD or Jesus or any other religious figure or entity attributed to salvation and spirituality. Firstly, the comparison is based on what we consider to be divine outside ourselves for salvation. 1) When I die can I take my money,car, house, material possessions, and will they do me any good ? 2) Is it true that the only thing, I have is my Soul/Spirit/ Ori , which is mine and mine alone, but is part of the collective? 3) And if these things are true would it stand to reason that I would hold a GOD/Jesus or divinity of salvation outside of myself for comfort and transition; if I hold them outside of myself ? The conclusion was as follows: What you hold outside of you is not part of you, and hence cannot serve you for guidance or comfort. Peace comes within not from believing, but knowing that you are a divine creature part of the collective and the your Higher Self is a GOD source of guidance, and if you solely seek these things in temples, churches or congregation you will be very disappointed. The Christ consciousness is defined by many as many things, but it is not exclusive to Jesus. The Christ consciousness is what all human beings should aspire to themselves be. By conducting themselves with goodness, and respect towards other human beings and creation in general; you connect to your higher self and in doing so you become the I AM that is GOD. This is not saying you are God. This is saying I AM what GOD connects to and this connection gives me guidance. This is not foreign to the religion and philosophy of IFA and we should all remember that even if we do not call GOD by the same name as another; it does not cease being the creative force, and the guidance that comforts us, and tells us that we are all saved by divine grace of that conduct and connection.
