I was buying donuts this morning and I was short $2.00, I told the cashier to hang tight so I can go grab the $2, and a man spoke up and said no worries here Ill pay the $2. Well me being me, I said Oh no sir, thank you so much for offering, but I have the $2 in my car. He already had the $2 handed out to give..I cut him off so fast and I could tell it bothered him...all he said was well Merry Christmas to you then and at that moment I felt like such a jerk!! I should have let him finish out his good deed and I didnt..I thanked him a million times before I left though and told him I really really appreciated him offering...I have to really Work on stuff like that.. should I feel this bad?
