I was called while in church off the cuff, to say a few words about two characteristics that a Father should have. There are so many but the two that came to mind were. 1. Be the father that projects the moral compass for your children. You need to be that balance for them instilling values that will help them charter though the challenging times they will no doubt encounter. 2. Be a communicator. Let your talking points be relevant to your children so they know you are engaging with them even if the dialogue might be uncomfortable at times. Be open minded allowing them to express themselves.
