I was challenged to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by Breia Victoria Lehr It’s silly but then again, so am I and I am making a donation to the ALS organization. I’ve seen a lot of people talk this down and even I scoffed at it initially but according to ALS Association, this attention has already made a difference - as of today, August 22, The ALS Association has received $53.3. million in donations compared to $2.2 million during the same time period last year (July 29 to August 21) Even if you can’t donate just take a few minutes to be better informed about this condition which saps the very life out of its victims and eventually claims their lives.
