I was challenged to the ALS ice bucket challenge by Greg Edwards. ALS is also known as Lou Gherigs disease, which is also the disease that Stephen Hawking has. In ALS, the motor neurons that control voluntary muscle movements die and you become unable to move your muscles, leading to muscle atrophy and eventually death. In the past 2 weeks, the ice bucket challenge has raised more than $7 million compared to $1 million during the same time period last year! I now challenge Mary C Strauch, Robert Dallas, and Robert Macgregor (sorry I spelled your name wrong, Robert) to the ice bucket challenge.
