I was chatting with a friend yesterday, and in the middle of our conversation; She said something that really got me amazed. In her words, she told me- akinwale, I appreciate you being here for me all this while, your words of encouragement have indeed helped me lots; Youre a good friend and i will always value our friendship. But akinwale, it seems your life is like a party; I dont think youve any worries and i envy you for that. Seriously! Even LIL WAYNE that sang a song titled No Worries still have issues bothering him. I really dont know why this babe think my life is perfect; Maybe because I share motivational talks and words of encouragement. One thing about me is that youll never know when Im having problems because i hide my tears in my smiles. Although I might be laughing loud and hearty, but deep inside Im blue. Looking like Im having fun but Outside Im masquerading. Even when my hope is fading, you wont know because my smile is my make-up. My smile is a mask to hide my tears; My happiness is a costume to cover up my fears. Everyday is like halloween to me because theres always something i have to pretend to be. Something you have to know is that the prettiest smile hide the deepest secrets, the prettiest eyes have cried the most tears, and the kindest hearts have felt the most pain. So buddy, no matter what youre going through in Life; Learn how to hide your tears in your smiles. Just keep on believing and praying to God; And someday, things will be Okay.
