I was clumsy as a child, super clumsy. I learned not to be - TopicsExpress

I was clumsy as a child, super clumsy. I learned not to be terribly embarrassed about physical mishaps early in life. What I am terribly embarrassed about are my weaknesses, inherent and chosen. My response to my weaknesses is to perform strength instead of standing in my truth and permitting myself the fullness of my humanity. Thing is, performance only fools the performer. In this way my ego is fed, not my soul. AND the whole goal of not embarrassing myself yields far greater consequence and more exacerbated embarrassment. Now after all that effort, what I have is the fruit of my own weakness and the side show I starred in as an attempt to hide it. It is in my vulnerability that I get the clearest picture of myself, failings and all. #day31 #100daysoftruth
