I was confronted by one of my more liberal friends recently, the subject was global warming (now climate change to better fit into their ultimate control mantra). The argument, augmented with their superior condescending assurance that the evidence and the science has been proven; the UN and our own US departments concur with this assessment that human activity is the cause and we, the USA must act to modify our lifestyle to save our planet..... So I listen to this how the majority of scientists are in agreement, thusly making any argument null and void.... ...Our lively conversation then turned to agriculture and the foods we eat. Apparently scientists have found there is no difference in GMO modified grains, the results are in and a majority of these same professionals find it is OK to feed on these modified grains, BUT in this case these same liberally minded individuals do not believe this to be true; that there has to be more testing to determine the accuracy of these conclusions..... ....I think to myself, global warming is settled because a majority of scientists, the UN and groups of salivating governmental money hungry groups want to TAX our carbon emissions, but when the majority of the scientific community find it OK to consume modified grain stock these same liberals want a different measuring stick; additional study to determine if it is OK.... .....What did I gain from these conversations? I think it is now apparent to me with liberal groups, progressive liberal groups, there is a saying my good father always pointed out to me, Common Sense is not so Common
