I was debating whether or not to share this at all. I know this content may be sensitive to some people and i am sorry if it is but you can hide the post if you want. In July this year, i put myself forward for something crazy! A naked !women empowerment! Shoot for a popular Irish womens magazine. That shoot came out today. Yesterday this magazine posted the cover on their web page, and i was so excited! I was so proud to have put myself forward for something like this, and knew that many women wouldnt have. It was difficult to do this , but i had just lost 2 stone and was feeling great! Just after i saw the post on their Facebook, i checked my email, because they said they would mail me to tell me it was coming out. I did have an email but it was to tell me they were not putting my pictures into the magazine due to last minute ad changes. I was so furious, i understand that a magazine is a business, and that of course money comes first, but i would have felt entirely different had the whole shoot been cut rather then my pictures. What made me most angry was that this shoot was meant to be about empowering women with different bodies and really they made me feel like the odd one out here. I felt like something else could have been cut. But in the end, i know i do not have the perfect body, but i do have an average womens body , and honestly, i love this picture! I still am proud of what i did even if im showing it here rather then in a magazine. I will be appearing on RTE2 on the 16th of October for a documentary about the shoot, ill still be in this so i cannot wait to see it. Again i am sorry if anyone gets offended by this post, but i really wanted to share this, thanks to all who read this
