I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2008. I could not take - TopicsExpress

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2008. I could not take Metformin or Insulin because I went into renal failure when I took either one. I had to try to control my sugar levels with my diet. Needless to say, that was not easy and my readings stayed in the 200 - 300 range on my meter. I started taking a nutritional supplement a friend recommended in March 2013. I noticed my meter readings started improving in about 6 weeks. They steadily improved over the next few months. On August 1st when I got my blood workup, my doctor in informed me that I was no longer diabetic. I have went back to a normal diet ( starches, etc, ) and my readings still show normal. ( in the 80s before I eat, then go up to about 105 - 110 after eating and then fall back to the 80s within an hour ).
