I was diagnosed with + as a child. (+ = ADD) The more I learn about my identity in Christ the more I realize why God created me the way He did. Growing up having + was and still is frustrating at times because you are constantly rejected and shunned by others for no apparent reason. Now that I know who I am in Christ and what my destiny is it does not bother me as much. I have figured out that the problem it is the rejectors not the rejectee. It is a sad human fact that when someone is unique most people choose to shy away. Very few people are mature enough to notice someone is unique and strive to get to know them and learn something from them. I realize that everyone I come across is a divine appointment so I treat it as one. The only thing that still hurts is feeling like I will never be normal enough to share a relationship with my special someone. It took me a long time to overcome my childhood because I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong when in reality I was just trying to be myself. Now that The Holy Spirit has revealed my true identity to me, why I am blessed with + is perfectly clear. + makes me advantaged because I can process multiple streams of information simultaneously. I can also play the drums with an endless supply of energy. It has become cliche to diagnose young people with + because it makes a lot of money for the pharmaceutical companies. If you truly have it, it is a blessing in disguise when you finally learn to master it. I came across this video and realized it is a classic opportunity to explain what is going through my brain as I experience my surroundings. I am going to try to take you through a 1-2 second clip of time because the symbolism is super strong. This is what I go through all the time. It is fun. It turns the mundane into an adventure. The only drawback is when the people around you do not understand what you are doing and often become afraid of you. That is why I always say I know I would not hurt a fly and God knows the intentions of my heart. You have to learn to deal with rejection over nothing but when you realize God is rewarding you for rejection it takes away most of the pain. So keep in mind this video is of non-peaceful protesters in Ferguson, MO. Hannity is focusing on someone lighting a fire in the store. This is where it gets complex because a couple of things all happen right at the same time. A good samaritan shows up. The cooler is opened. Someone else comes into the picture and falls on their ass in the background. (Get it? Back, ground... haha.) Milk is used on the fire. (MLK = The initials of Martin Luther King, Jr. The king of peaceful protest.) The fire is extinguished and the store does not burn down. Glorious blessings to each and every one of you!
