I was down by Shabbona Lake, (a big lake north of Ottawa) yesterday when I saw a younster riding her scooter towards me on the dock. The young girl lost her balance and was about to fall into the lake. I instinctively grabbed her and pushed her back onto the dock. Unfortunately, I wasn’t so lucky. I fell onto the dock just as a group of ravenous, rabid, rabbits scurried from a boat that had just pulled up. I was able to fight my way through the herd of hippity hopping bunnies but not before they left their mark.
