I was driving through town yesterday to run my mom to the dentist, when I saw some kids with something on a stick and fish line. The first time I passed I wasnt sure if it was alive but I thought it was a snake, so I turned around. Im sure I gave them a memory they wont soon forget. I dont get angry often, but when a kid has a snake hooked in the side because he wants to play with it, but is obviously afraid of it. And when I told him that he was hurting it and that was cruel, he shrugged it off as its just a stupid snake yep I was mad. I pulled out my most authoritative vioce and demanded he put it down. I had a container in my car, thank goodness, I removed the hook and took off with her, all while this kid is threatening to sue me for taking his snake. I googled it, its a queen snake. Took this pic right after she dumped the water bowl I had in there for her. Lol She looks to be recovering from the incident pretty well. We will likely release her today. (It looks like a girl)
