I was empty and I sought religion. I was still empty and lonely and sad. And I sought a companion but it only was temporary and even though we love one another, I am still seeking to be filled. I drank to get drunk and I was still thirsty. I ate until I could vomit but I was still empty. I did all the prayers and did good deeds but I was still empty and hungry. Until one day I stopped and I read how much you loved me, and why you loved me and then I believed. And you filled me , I was no longer lonely, or hungry, I was satisfied. I was no longer thirsty because Jesus you now are my eternal well spring. I am no longer empty. I long to be with you but it is not my time to go yet. Thank you Jesus that I do not have to do one thing to earn my salvation or to come straight to heaven. Thank Jesus for everything I have.
