I was enjoying the break from the heat. Opened the doors from the porch to the house to let in fresh air, while working in the office until the wee hours of the morning its after 3:00 am. I came in closed and locked the doors behind me went to set the alarm at the front door and saw... wait for it ......what I thought must be a huge rat. Well not to fear it is a opossum. I walked into my room, put on boots and googled how to get an opossum out of my house. It said I could use a long hook like devise, pick it up by its tail or open all the doors and let it leave on its own. So this is what being a single woman is about. This is when I get to belly up to the plate. So, I am heading back into the living room then opening all the doors, getting the push broom and hoping for the best. Here I go striking a blow for womens independence......
