I was excited to be the first to cast my ballot at the Hamilton County Board of Elections to kick off early voting in Ohio. However, today, the U.S. Supreme Court sided with Secretary of State John Husted in his quest to limit our voting rights. While this ruling is a minor step back, it will not stop our voices from being heard at the polls. I firmly believe that Ohioans should have as many opportunities to vote as possible. Join me to “Sleep Out the Vote” NEXT Monday, October 6th beginning at 8:30 PM at the Hamilton County Board of Elections. Let us show our power in numbers to protect the most fundamental right in our democracy—the right to vote.
