I was extremely saddened to hear the death of Chief Major B.A Adigio-Eseni (JP) in the hands of kidnappers.He was a patriot who never wavered in his beliefs and dedication to his community and his country,hence rose to the rank of a major in the Nigerian Army.He was a veteran in the Nigerian-Biafran civil war, who later became a Col in the Biafran Army.Even as circumstances led him to fight for the sovereignty of the Republic of Biafran,he never betrayed Col Ojukwu. He is a man worthy of emulation.The late chief diligently served as the chairman Okpoama kingdom council of chiefs for two consecutive tenure at the most difficult period in the history of Okpoama kingdom.He is one of the most prominent chiefs in the kingdom,I therefore call him His Highness.He served God faithfully and became one of the most dedicated members in St Pauls Anglican church Okpoama. Until his demise he was a knight of the church of Nigeria(Anglican communion). Well,the bible says in everything we give thanks to God as we dont have the power to pass judgement on the perpetrators of this evil.We pray to God to give us the grace to bear this irreparable lost.
