I was extremely shocked and upset to see the front page of the Bucks County Herald this week. I cant believe that,in my opinion, someone so deceitful, someone completely lacking in integrity could land himself a TV show and this much positive press. I would like to see Sean Tracy and Bucks County Timbercraft out of business. Not only did he screw us, his former clients, but he owes many many sub-contractors tens of thousands of dollars. (see lawsuits below) I was told, he has yet to pay the electrician who worked on my house over 2 years ago. We were smart enough to get lien releases from the subs but some people werent and now have liens on their houses since they paid BCTC and he apparently never paid the subs. Ive been living in an unfinished house for 2 years, having already paid for the items that havent been finished yet. I endured a year of this man screaming and yelling and being verbally abusing my husband and I during our building process. He almost got violent in front of my then 6 yr old son who continues to be scared of him. He threatened to hold/not complete items for our U&O unless we gave him money we didnt owe him. I cant afford to pay someone else to finish all the things he never finished, Did no one do a background check on this person before offering him a TV gig? Didnt they think it might be a good idea to check out some of his former clients? Anyone know someone at Scripps Networks? I will of course be contacting them anyway but an introduction is always nice. Here are a list of current outstanding lawsuits against BCTC and Sean Tracy readily available on the internet: Here is one from this week: it notes he owes more than $50,000 to the lumber company. This is the reason good businesses go bankrupt, corrupt people not paying their bills. propublic.co.bucks.pa.us/PSI/Viewer/Detail.aspx?oq=aWQ9NTk3Mzk2OCZlbnRpdHk9Q2FzZQ%3d%3d This one is for over $78,000. This poor guy started his house right after mine. He didnt get lien releases so not only did Cooper mechanical go after BCTC, they went after him too. I talked with Cooper about a year ago and they said they hadnt gotten paid for my job yet even though I have paid invoices showing that I paid BCTC for the plumbing work they did. propublic.co.bucks.pa.us/PSI/Viewer/Detail.aspx?oq=aWQ9NTk0NzUxMSZlbnRpdHk9Q2FzZQ%3d%3d These are bigger companies that can afford to sue Sean. I know several little guys who cant and are over the small claims limit (as am I). Maybe I can find a lawyer than takes a percentage and nothing upfront and sue him that way...
