I was feeling a bit old laying in bed this morning with old man - TopicsExpress

I was feeling a bit old laying in bed this morning with old man pains and watching Gardening with Cisco on channel 5 . They were broadcasting from my old friends place , GRISWOLDS nursery . The sisters looked old like me now but still the same and loving what their dad started in 1952 . Its cool seeing old friends on TV and realizing they never left town , the town just changed the surroundings so much you hardly saw the old farm house now, tucked away behind the trees . I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to start something my kids carried on , in my name too . DAVE CASPERS SCENIC LANDSCAPE was my shingle , may use it again now.....and even buy some rhodys and azaleas from here . Azaleas make awesome BONZI plants too . I had lots of them . People would want fresh green ,nicely growing ones and PAY ME to take the old ones out and plant new ones . The old ones were usually half dead and contorted to start with . I just pruned off most of the dead ,potted up in small flat pots and made layers with the remaining branches , shaping them with copper wire . Spent hours doing that and thinking I SHOULD GO PLAY WITH THE KIDS....but Im almost done here...for now ! Well the kids are grown ,plants are all dead now, lack of love and water while I would go to dads in the heat of summer . You need to water them 1 or more times a day because of the small root base . Well now I have grand kids I hope I can share some of my love for the trees and plants with, need time too ........I have some plans for my one grandson Corbin Jackson Marts . I think he may have a love for art too but we will see just what kind . His dad is an excellent tattoo artist and I thought of getting a tattoo in the shape of a BONZI tree , each branch layer would be the names of my kids . Could even have 2 dead trunks on it for the exes since their no longer part of the living tree . Reminds me of part of that sermon this morning too ... Rmns 11:2424 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! Im thinking of doing some more grafting too . I sure love DJ but not in any hurry either . Were both old vines and the grafting gets harder too . The wood gets hardened in the heart of those old vines but new growth still happens and the two become one with new life flowing through those joints . The flowers still bloom too . SHE JUST NEEDS LOTS OF LOVE AND WATERED 1 or MORE TIMES DAYLY :)
