I was first out of the water but....... When they called my number I thought I was finished and the gal 3 body lengths behind me got out and ran across the beeper thing first. Our tied time was 1:12.36; however, she outran me and got the win. She was a really good sport. She said she would share the salmon with me since I got out of the water first. Should I tell her I am vegan? Also, record from 2002 is intact. I need to drop 50 seconds to get it. The gal who finished with me is 21 years my junior. Congratulations to Madeline Klobuchar! Great race! Counting boys I finished 8th overall.
