I was followed by a police van walking down Murray Ave as I peacefully made my walk home from an amazing evening with great people and great concert. I was by myself and anyone who really knows me will know that I always travel with my black bag with books, notebooks, markers, pens, etc. Officers asked me if I had any markers in my bag or spray paint. I said I have markers. They searched my bag and they took my sketch book which had graffiti art in it. They took my ID and said if we see any of these show up anywhere on any buildings we are coming to arrest you. Way to keep these streets safe guys. My notebooks have journals, poems and performance peaces, go get me!!!! I felt like they pulled over Banksy for a second. Pretty sure that was all illegal. Hip hop is alive tonight and I wasnt going to let two guys who were dead derail that. Thanks to everyone who kicked major ass tonight. Art > Police.
