I was getting annoyed when I stepped into the Blind Cat and a bunch of hispters (in the worst sense of this term) were playing some loud, ugly, soul-less fast-foodly hiphoppish rhythms on the Jukebox and for holys sake it was a still bright 6pm in the afternoon. It got worse when they cut me off only after I attempted to beautify the ambiance by inviting good ol Chuck Berry to play one of his sweetest southern tunes. So I borrowed a 5 dollars from Officer Josh and spent them all on choosing a more appropriate and to them educational background music, starting from Metallicas Master of Puppets, going from Megadeth, Iggy Pop, Nine Inch Nails to David Bowie, the Smiths and the Cure... I think those sounds of fury, love, hate, solitude, passion and rebellion that I have loved wholeheartedly scared those kids so they stood here sipping their cocktails without making any verbal protest nor did they dare look back at me, while I nodded to the music and watched how a man destroyed another in a pool game.
