I was getting everything ready for the morning (clothes, backpack), and handed the kiddos the phone with the Tell Tale Heart on YouTube. It was an animated one, and only about seven minutes. Kiddos quite enjoyed it, especially Willow. We started reading a new Faerie book tonight, and Shauny just took off. He read most of 14 pages, and I only helped with one word (he even sounded out paraded), and twice I had to remind him to read the punctuation. Halfway through the second chapter, he asked me to finish so he could take a drink of some water. So, freaking, proud. On another note, Im no doctor, but Im fairly certain that Miss Fight and I have hand, foot, and mouth. She had it once before, and Im pretty sure thats what weve got now, I think that may have been what Shauny Bug had as well, but hes not really sick anymore, so if he had it, its all cleared up. Pretty sure hes hoping to wake up with a fever so he can stay home, lol.
