I was getting my most needed medications one day at a pharmacy and despite the blessing of having TRICARE prime, the transfer to my new location, the treatment by one female technician was commandeering, impatient, while she was typing at warp speed, making me repeat over and over again what I needed, ..I hold to myself as my ever intelligent calm, understanding wife wouldve recommended it...But after a while hearing this obviously smart technician miss pronounced my last name, for a second time(only smart people can say it at first try) I got quiet, when she looked at me for the first time in the whole verbal firing( no customers behind me...Was she having a bad day?, No for what I notice as an attitude in the other diverse employees) I slapped my ID in front of her, and gave her the military treatment: write it down!....A whole quiet page later and a day or so of waiting at home ( and after extremely polite phone calls), it was time to stand in line; a tall in her fifties well dressed lady got the news: Im sorry Mame this is not covered under your insurance lady: but it is $60 more expensive! ... I got to the next line got my stuff, then, as I was leaving I heard something about the affordable care act, in the middle of the now escalating argument...Felt sorry for her, wishing to be able to do something about it, she stormed out of the line behind me (saw her from the corner of my eye) She didnt get her meds. I felt lucky, very lucky, But Ive seen this before 20 plus years in Mexico-in the past- This is The USA, our present!? ...Watch the commercial below, -muted- And you will understand what the people of America shouldnt be going through:
