I was given the #5 by Joan Werner Smathers. So here are 5 things you may not know about me. 1. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology. While there I interned one summer with the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission and was one of the first two women hired by the NCWRC in a non-secretarial position. One of the most memorable and fun jobs I ever had. 2. One of my highest accomplishments has been being the mother of two wonderful daughters of whom I am very proud. Kate is in graduate school at the University of AZ getting a masters in public administration and Claire is a 7th grade science teacher at Leesville Middle School in Raleigh, NC. 3. I love time travel books, movies, etc. 4. My favorite vacation spots are the Bridgewater Inn, Matlacha, FL and Sedona, AZ. 5. I love birdwatching and my favorite birds are birds of prey, owls, hawks, eagles, etc.
