I was given the number 8. So here are some things that some of you might not know: 1) I was born with tibial torsion, had to wear leg braces as a child (think Forrest Gump), had reconstructive ankle surgery this year (the other ankle is TBD), and have done my best to overcome said shortcomings. 2) I dont half-ass my injuries: I severed my tongue at 4 y/o and had to have it reattached, broke all ten off my toes simultaneously when I was 6, and broke my cheekbone and had the skin torn off so you could see the break when I was 10, to list a few. 3) My favorite job to date was as a preschool teacher in Japan. 4) On our first date I asked my now husband to climb Mt Fuji with me. One month later we did and he realized then that I was the one. 5) I am a resident of TX yet I have only visited the state once. 6) I still want to join the Peace Corps. 7) I am happiest caring for others. 8) I need to learn to put myself first and that concept scares the crap out of me.
