I was given the number 9. Here are 9 things you probably didn’t know about me: 1. I wore the number 24 when I played soccer...all the way through college- as an homage to my favorite basketball player from the time I was 6 years old: Mark Aguirre 2. Im not sure I dream at night. Ive only woken up a handful of times with any memory of a dream. Most of the time I go to sleep at night- and just wake up the next morning with nothing in between. 3. I believe that the runners high is total nonsense and a propaganda tool used to create a class of hipster runners 4. I love stadiums. I spend hours online just reading about old, new, famous, extinct, and even just ordinary stadiums. 5. I love reading about WWII. I always wonder if I have what it takes to be willing to stand up in a time of need. Would I be in the rear with the gear- or with the airborne divisions or marines at the tip of the spear? I like to think I have the guts- but Im not sure. 6. Im interested in everything. Unfortunately, that makes it really hard to become an expert in anything, because the desire to be exposed to new things often trumps the desire to focus. 7. Every personality test Ive ever taken has me right in the middle. Id like to think that if those tests are accurate, then they are evidence in support of my hunch that I tend to be able to empathize more naturally than most. 8. I once out-rebounded Marc Paisant when he wasnt paying attention. Its my proudest basketball moment, because I cant shoot and I have no handle. 9. I always dumped the grass clippings in the boy-pile on the off chance that Mr. B could see past the fence from one of the upstairs windows. I didnt want to take the chance of him seeing me taking the easy way out. I remember him every day.
