I was given this beautiful turtle shell yesterday from a lovely Native American woman. I had been admiring her basket of turtle shells all day! The first thing I noticed on the bottom of its shell were markings that remind me of old black locks without the keys which I found very interesting. The turtle totem represents seeking shelter when you need protection it retreats to the safety of its home.( the shell.) Symbolic turtle meaning* you can do the same thing retreat go within by creating a spiritual shield of protection against negativity, harmful influences and painful memories. When you retreat go with in you will find peace and safety as well as gain the inner wisdom to unlock the locks for you hold the keys. You will emerge from within strengthened and be prepared to move forward. Turtle wisdom teaches patience. Dont push yourself so fast that you make errors and miss opportunities. Lesson of the turtle* So enjoy the journey of life, magic, intuition, serendipity and experiencing happy accidents!
