I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to the house of The Lord. Ps. 122:1 Unfortunately, that does not express the sentiment of everyone ... not even the majority. Church attendance or the lack thereof falls into several categories: those who never go, those who seldom go, and those who almost always go. You would think that the words of the Psalmist describes the attitude of everyone who almost always go to church. But that is not necessarily true. Some go out of habit. Others go to ease their conscience. And many go out of a sense of duty. But not everyone is glad about going to church. In fact, there are many who are glad when church is over so they can get back to doing things they really enjoy. Im quite certain there were more people who were glad to go to church last week on Easter Sunday than will be glad to go to church tomorrow. Count me in among those who are glad to have the opportunity to go to church every week ... not just on some special occasion. Im glad I can go and I will be glad I went. How about you? Be blessed
