I was going through it on Friday, it was the anniversary of my Grandmothers death. Those that know me know that she was more like a mother to me and that her passing broke me. But thats life, you know. Thats how its supposed to go; we bury our parents/grandparents... The circle of life. I spent last night with a friend that means the world to me. He is a broken man, one that lost a son. That is an pain that no parent should ever have to endure. Its crazy how another persons heartache has a way of putting your own into perspective and opening your eyes enough to see & count your blessings. I dont know what to do or say to help make my friend feel ok, I actually dont think that is possible. What I do know is that I am and will forever be here for him. Hug your babies tighter, remind them of just how much you love them & sneak in and absorb any quality time that theyre willing to spend with you, I know I most certainly will. Happy Birthday Anthony.
