I was going to go off on a rare and uncharacteristic rant ripping the “milk it for all it is worth” news media, the pompous, holier-than-thou, sensationalizing, arrogant radio commentators like WTMJ’s John Mecure and Charlie Sykes and all of the fair weather, “without sin” Brewers fans, but that would just be fuel on the fire. Ditto for the dick brain in the Governor’s chair, who I had half accepted as OK until he took the opportunity to jump on the lynch mob bandwagon yesterday reminding me of what a pandering weasel he is. So this is all I have to say – when any of those people do 1% for the community that Ryan Braun has done, or have lived a single day under the incredible pressure to be THE person to carry a ball team and by extension their fan base on their back on an every day, every minute basis, THEN you can make judgmental, condemning, crucifying statements if it makes you feel that much better. Those looking to discard or burn their Braun jerseys, send them my way. I’ll make a killing next season when he returns with a vengeance as a hitting juggernaut and everyone flip flops again. I’ll wear them proudly until then And Kwik Trip – you can shove your slurpies.
