I was going to post a super cutie pie pic of my little man Zavier. He turned 6 and we had a great birthday party with, food, swimming, cake, and ended the night with the circus. As a Mom, Im like, yay, we did good. We always want to bless our kids right? The best part came at the very end of the night. We had his 2 best buddies sleep over. Im tucking them in and read them a story about the tower of Babel. I ended the story and Zav says, Mom, you know what? Jesus is wild about you. I answered, he is and hes wild about you and you and you! ( pointing to each of them) The boys began to tell me how big God is. They said he was bigger than this room, bigger than this house, bigger than this world! It quickly became a competition like every 5 and 6 year old boy does. haha I walked away from tucking them in with thoughts swirling in my mind. My kids do plenty of things wrong and we as parents feel like we are probably doing EVERYTHING wrong.. but one thing I knew after listening to these guys talk is what goes in, comes out. Three boys who know they are loved, know they are protected, know who to call on, know how big he is...THIS is the one thing I can say we are doing right, we can always do BETTER but at the end of the day, I want to know they know God. Im thankful he has these little dudes as his friends, that they know Jesus, that they will help each other through life, and they will remind each other just how big God is no matter what happens in life.
