I was going to say “I put it to you” but that would be too corny, so here is my simple hypothesis. Starting with a few predictions; 1. OP is going to get off relatively lightly for his heinous crime. (Remember before you go ballistic, this just an hypothesis.) 2. As well as Shakes Mashaba has started as coach of “Bafana, Bafana,” Shakes will be removed just before, or just after, the next FIFA World Cup. 3. Whatever the official verdict is in the Reeva Steenkamp murder trial, there will be an appeal process. 4. An appeal process will last for at least two years, and more than likely for four years, or longer. So, if we put these predictions together, it would appear that the best way of ensuring that justice prevails is, in two or three years time, to appoint OP as the “Bafana, Bafana” coach. Why? Well it’s quite simple, if the so-called justice system cannot punish OP for what he has or hasn’t done, SAFA definitely can. I hope I am wrong.
