I was having a conversation with a 40something year ols Niger boy when i had another kairos moment. The current 40somethings that grew up in Nigeria actually saw some of the good times. Even though i may be a bit younger than the upper category of this class size, i remember buying Goldspot, bread and akara at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) for 50Kobo. I went through Uni at arguably the most prestigious Uni in Africa for "FREE",. But right in my face I did nothing to ensure the ones after me received a fair share like i did. This X generation are the most self centered and selfish Nigeria has ever had. It is a #meandmeonly!generation with everybody building nests for themselves. I am not saying we caused it but we cannot deny opening our eyes and letting "talubo" enter it like my Mum would say. I have been disgusted about the whole concept since it came to my consciousness yesterday hence my resolve to share it in its raw format. I am ashamed on behalf of my generation as we are the ones that have failed the nation..................... #weowethefuture
